Platform Overview
A map of the SeaSquad shore portal and its modules.
The SeaSquad platform is a shore-side portal for ship-management companies. It brings together the documents, certificates, inspections, reports, and correspondence a fleet office deals with every day, and adds an AI assistant that can answer questions across all of it. This page maps out the modules covered in the rest of this section.
AI assistant
A chat interface that can search and reason over your fleet's documents, certificates, reports, and email — scoped to a vessel or across your whole fleet, depending on your role. It also has a maritime web-search mode for general industry and regulatory questions that go beyond your own data.
See AI assistant.
Documents
Every vessel has its own set of document folders. Upload PDFs, images, or office documents and the platform extracts their text and key details automatically, making them searchable and available to the AI assistant within minutes.
See Documents.
Certificates
A structured register of the statutory and class certificates each vessel is required to hold. Upload a certificate against its slot in the register and the platform reads the expiry date and certificate number automatically, so your fleet's compliance status stays current and renewal dates are never a surprise.
See Certificates.
Inspections
Vessel inspection records, defects, and survey status, including fortnightly and progressive reports used to track a ship's condition and open items over time.
See Inspections.
Reports
Periodic vessel reports and grading reports that summarise a ship's operational and compliance status, reviewable and searchable alongside the rest of your fleet's records.
See Reports.
Email intelligence
Outlook-integrated email management with AI-assisted triage, analysis, and drafting, helping shore staff work through fleet correspondence faster.
See Email intelligence.
PSC and RCA
Port State Control deficiency tracking and root-cause analysis, including recurrence detection across a vessel's inspection history.
See PSC and RCA.
Roles and access
Every user has a role and a ship scope that together determine what they can see and do in the portal — from a single vessel to the whole fleet.
