Welcome to SeaSquad
An overview of the SeaSquad platform and where to find documentation for each product.
SeaSquad is a set of AI-powered SaaS products for the maritime industry, built for shore-side teams who run fleets and crews. This site documents two products:
- SeaSquad Platform — an AI-powered fleet-management portal for ship-management companies: document intelligence, certificate tracking, inspections, reports, email intelligence, and an AI assistant that understands your fleet's data.
- SeaSquad CMS — a crew-management system covering fleet and manning, crew records, planning, and office workflows for crewing teams.
Both products share a common design language and are built for the same audience: shore-side staff who need fast, reliable access to operational information without digging through scattered spreadsheets, inboxes, and shared drives.
Who this documentation is for
- Ship managers and shore-side office staff who use the portal day to day — tracking certificates, reviewing inspection reports, triaging email, and asking the AI assistant questions about their fleet.
- Client IT evaluators assessing the platform for security, data handling, and integration before or during onboarding.
If you are evaluating SeaSquad for your organisation, start with the Security page — it covers data handling, access control, and hosting.
Where to go next
Platform
The shore-side fleet-management portal. Covers the module map, getting started with your account and ship scope, the AI assistant, document management, and the certificate register.
SeaSquad CMS
The crew-management product: fleet and manning, crew records, roles and permissions, and the notification platform.
Security
How SeaSquad handles access control, data isolation between organisations, and hosting. Read this first if you're evaluating the platform for procurement.
How this documentation is organised
Each product section starts with an overview page that maps out its modules, followed by focused pages on each feature. Pages are written to be read independently — jump straight to the page that answers your question, or start at the top of a section and read through.
